After i backup my data on Titanium BackUp and flashing a new Custom OS to my Android Phone, So i just wanted to restore back my files and i was unable to do so, first of all i thought the size of backup file was bigger and that’s the reason the file took longer to restore, but that wasn’t the case, i tried to restore other files with lesser size but it took more than 10 Minutes restoring, I rebooted my phone for about five times but not restoring, then until i decided to backup a file and see may be it is going to back up, Then i got an error message that Insufficient Storage space and which i have at least 10GB free Space on my Device Storage.
Some one complaint about that same error in Stack Exchange, And the problem was due to Mount Namespace Seperation in SuperSu Settings which was enabled. And most especially Android users running on the newer version are most likely to face this Titanium backup of insufficient storage or unable to restore their previously backup files.
How To Fix Titanium Backup Insufficient Storage Or Unable To Restore Backup
- Open Your SuperSu And Go to Settings
- Scroll down you will see, Mount namespace seperation and untick/unmark it, See the image below
- Then reboot, your phone and go back to Titanium Backup and restore your files or backup any of your Applications.
