Benin Republic head coach, Gernot Rohr has reflected on his side’s victory over Nigeria’s Super Eagles.
The Cheetahs claimed a famous 2-1 victory over their neighbours at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan, on Monday night.
Nigeria took the lead through Raphael Onyedika in the 26th minute.
The hosts however rallied to win the game through goals from Jordel Dossou and Steve Mounie.
“It was a great game for us, this was the first time our ‘A’ team will beat the Super Eagles,” Rohr said.
