Former Real Madrid manager Fabio Capello has given his opinion on who the greatest player of all time is.
The Italian picked the best from among the players he managed.
Capello managed some of the finest players of the 20th century during his time at Real Madrid, AC Milan, Juventus, AS Roma and the England national team.
Capello spoke on Rio Ferdinand’s YouTube channel, FIVE.
Ferdinand himself played under the Italian when he was England’s manager.
When the former Manchester United defender asked the 78-year-old legendary manager to pick the greatest player he ever worked with, he said: “Ronaldo. I managed many great players. This is a good question. Every time, the winner is a forward. I think Baresi and Maldini were for me the best players that I trained and both of them were defenders.”
