The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has kicked off the display of the Preliminary Register of Voters (PRV) and the issuance of old Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) ahead of forthcoming elections in Edo and Ondo states.
The events began on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, and will run for one week.
According to INEC, the display of the PRV would allow the public to identify ineligible persons on the register, report them to the Commission, and file objections using Forms EC2 and EC3.
“These forms are available from officials at all centers and can also be downloaded from the website (inecnigeria.org/?page_id=13655). Additionally, fresh registrants and those needing corrections, transfers, or replacements of PVCs can report errors for further action.
“The display will take place in all 395 Wards across the two States. Don’t miss out; get involved and make your vote count as we gear up for #EdoDecides2024 and #OndoDecides2024 Governorship Elections,” the Commission added.
