Former Chelsea and Real Madrid attacking midfielder Eden Hazard has named Kevin De Bruyne the best midfielder in the world.
He also said that with a player like De Bruyne, Belgium stands a chance of winning the 2024 European championship.
Hazard and De Bruyne have played 81 games together with seven joint goal contributions.
The Manchester City midfielder is currently with Belgium for Euro 2024 and could not help them from falling to a shocking 1-0 defeat to Slovakia in their first game.
Despite the defeat, Hazard strongly believed his country would compete to win the competition.
He said (via Man City News): “I think they have a great chance; they have the best player in the world, so let’s see. To win something, sometimes, you need a bit of luck with injuries and this and that, so they have great chance. They are good. He can make everything, every pass, he can see everything quicker than anyone, faster than anyone. That’s why he’s special.”
