Kano Pillars boss relishes win over Plateau United


Kano Pillars caretaker coach, Ahmed Garba has revealed the reason behind his side’s impressive away draw at Plateau United.

Pillars were held to a 1-1 draw by Plateau United at the New Jos Stadium on Sunday.

Veteran midfielder, Rabiu Ali goal put the Sai Masu Gida in front before Sam Pam Jr levelled up for the hosts.

Garba believed that with good officiating his team were capable of securing good results anywhere.

“We set up our team well tactically ,” he stated in a post-match interview.

“With good and quality officiating, we believe we can win anywhere.”

Kano Pillars have garnered 49 points from 37 games in this campaign.

The former NPFL champions will take on Lobi Stars in their final game of the season.
