The Lagos State Government has assured Ikorodu City FC of its maximum support in the Nigeria Premier Football League next season.
The Director-General of the state sport commission, Mr Lekan Fatodu, disclosed this while hosting the team.
Fatodu also wished the team success in the 2024-25 NPFL season.
Ikorodu City will be making their maiden appearance in the NPFL after finishing among the top four teams at the Nigeria National League , NNL, Super Eight playoff in Enugu.
Beyond Limits, Nasarawa United and El-Kanemi Warriors are the other teams that secured promotion to NPFL.
DAILY POST recalled that Beyond Limits were crowned champions of the 2023-24 NNL season after coming top at the playoff tournament.
