Police operatives led by ASP Julius Robinson have arrested a fifty-five-year-old suspected cultist and gun runner, Ufuoma One in Jesse, Ethiope-West Local Government Area of Delta State.
The police also recovered from the suspect, a locally fabricated AK-47 rifle with a revolver-like magazine and Thirteen (13) rounds of 7.6mm ammunition.
The suspect was arrested on 08/06/2024, DAILY POST can report.
Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe confirmed the report.
He said, “In addition to his involvement in a series of crimes in that area, he is also suspected to be a member of the Eiye confraternity.”
SP Edafe said, “Investigation is ongoing.”
