President Bola Tinubu and a former Nigerian President, Olusegun Obasanjo have arrived at the Union Buildings, Pretoria, in South Africa where the President-elect, Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to be sworn in.
A viral video making the rounds on social media captured the moment the duo were received into the venue.
DAILY POST recalls that Tinubu on Tuesday departed Lagos State for South Africa to attend the inauguration of the president.
President Ramaphosa was re-elected by Parliament on Friday, June 14, 2024.
The swearing-in will be conducted by Chief Justice Raymond Zondo in the Union Buildings’ Nelson Mandela Amphitheatre.
The ceremony is being witnessed by Presidents from different parts of the continent and beyond.
