Super Falcons Defender, Glory Ogbonna has signed a new one-year contract with Turkish side, Besiktas, DAILY POST reports.
Besiktas made the announcement on social media on Friday.
“Besiktas United Payment team have renewed the contract of our Nigerian defender Glory Ogbonna within the scope of the transfer efforts for the 2024/25 season,” reads the statement.
The former Edo Queens player expressed her delight after penning the new contract.
“Since joining Besiktas, it has been an amazing time, and the fans have been great. I’m looking forward to seeing what the future holds,” she stated.
The versatile defender made 28 appearances for Besiktas in the 2023/24 season with one goal to her name.
Besiktas finished in fourth position in the Turkcell Women’s Football League last season.
