Former tennis world no. 1, Boris Becker, has urged new Bayern Munich manager, Vincent Kompany to sign 22-year-old Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Xavi Simons.
Becker described Simons, who is currently at the Euro 2024, as a “huge talent”.
Simons has been impressive for the Netherlands at the ongoing tournament in Germany.
He has played 135 minutes across the first two games of his side’s fixtures against Poland and France.
Speaking about Simons, Becker wants Kompany to first sign the player on loan.
He wrote on X: “VK , please get Xavi Simons at least on loan and see what happens…huge talent!”
