Euro 2024: Morata becomes third top scorer in history of competition

Spain striker, Álvaro Morata, on Saturday became the third top scorer in the history of the Euros with 7 goals.

The Atletico Madrid star achieved this feat after scoring a goal in Spain’s Euro 2024 victory over CroatiaEuro 2024

The former Chelsea and Real Madrid attacker scored Spain’s first goal as they defeated Croatia 3-0 in their first game of the Euro 2024.

Only Portugal captain, Cristiano Ronaldo (14 ) and former French footballer Michel Platini (9) have more goals than Morata.

Recall that the Euro 2024 started on Friday night in Germany.

Spain’s next game is against Italy on Thursday.
