Heartland won’t give up on NPFL survival – Okafor

Heartland forward, Onyekachi Okafor says the team will intensify efforts to avoid relegation in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, this season.

The Naze Millionaires are currently 19th in the table.

Heartland will square up with Remo Stars at the Remo Stars Stadium on Wednesday.

Okafor stated that the players are focused on securing victory in the game.

A defeat for Heartland against Remo Stars would confirm their relegation to the Nigeria National League, NNL.

“We are focused on our three remaining games,” he told DAILY POST.

“To win all of them if possible, we will say that we fight and not just giving up like that. The only plan is to win.”
